How do Paypal fees Work?
Paypal charges a 2.99% fee for all Goods & Services transaction on the total amount charged.

How are payments handled?
Payments will be handled through PayPal services. An invoice will be sent out to both parties with shipping included and all applicable fees.

How am I protected against scams?
Our Inspection center, along with the diligence provided by the team, will insure that every item purchased and/or traded through our marketplace is exactly what was agreed to by both parties.

How is the shipping handled? (large/Small Items)
All Items will be shipped to inspection center with tracking through any provider chosen and agreed to by both parties. Once item has been received at the inspection center and processed, the item will then be shipped to the corresponding party through the same provider chosen. USPS is the prefered method of shipping and will yield the best price.

Can I get expedited shipping on an item?
Of course. Payments for expedited shipping will need to be paid prior to items being shipped to inspection center.

Does Trade the Hobby offer International Shipping?
If an agreement has been made by both parties for international purchase (and fees paid) we will allow international purchase. Subject to change.

How is a shipping claim handled?

All shipping claims will need to be filed with the corresponding shipping carrier if item has not been received and confirmed delivery to inspection center.

The facility used by Trade the Hobby to insure to each customer that an item is in fact as described and in the condition agreed upon.

Can I send my items without a deal in place to the inspection center?
Yes, you can send your items to us but we reserve the right to only post in the marketplace what we think will sell.

What if I want to broker my own deals and only use Trade the Hobby as a platform?
Utilize the proposal Form and add all necessary information including all agreements and contact information of both parties. Trade the Hobby will reach out to both parties to ensure all bases have been covered and proceed to finalize the transaction.

Yes, Trade the Hobby LLC and its inspection center are fully insured and covered for any issues. We offer peace of mind knowing that your package is insured through the postal service during shipping and Trade the Hobby has insurance on its inspection center.

Can I buy more than 1 listing at a time?
Yes, but due to the items possibly belonging to different sellers you may be charged for separate shipping. At the moment, you would have to send a proposal for each item, and if they belong to one seller Trade the Hobby will discuss all options.

How are negotiations handled for a listing?
Trade the Hobby will reach out to seller 1st and if further negotiations are needed, all available options will be discussed with parties.

How are listings handled?
Listings are placed in marketplace in the order of when they are submitted. Newer listings are 1st and so on. There is an option to have a sponsored listing in which you can pay an added fee to be placed in the homepage.

Can I change how a listing is displayed?
Of course. If there are any issues or discrepancies with your listing please reach out to us and we can accommodate and discuss all options.

What items can I list?
Any memorabilia items and/or sports card are eligible to be added to the marketplace upon approval.

What happens if a deal is made and other party is unresponsive?
You will always get your money back or listing back in the event the other party is unresponsive. We will not ask you to ship anything until the invoice has been paid for by both parties.

What is the time frame for shipping items once deal has been made?
We give Customers 48 hours (not including holidays or weekends) to ship out items once Invoices have been paid.

The buyer is responsible for the shipping from the seller to the inspection center and from the inspection center to themselves. While we understand this increases the shipping cost, the extra cost is needed to give the buyer the peace of mind knowing what they bought is what they are getting.

All Items need to be shipped using bubble mailers or boxes that fit the collectible without damaging or risking damage. No envelopes due to increase in damage likelihood unless otherwise approved.
